ParriagGroup, led a two-year, feminist evaluation of an umbrella program supporting women’s entrepreneurship. These programs reflected a diversity of realities and self-determined approaches to building sustainable futures.

documenting early outcomes, and co-developing a feminist evaluation framework with grantees. The second year acted as a final evaluation, capturing measurable outcomes and showing how feminist funding builds both services and movements. We used mixed methods - document reviews, surveys, storytelling, site visits, and focus groups - while ensuring we were trauma informed in all data gathering. Throughout, we pivoted methods to meet the realities of diverse communities, creating safe and inclusive spaces for participation. Outcomes included stronger survivor supports, improved financial stability, expanded community leadership, and culturally grounded economic opportunities for women, youth, and families. Importantly, the evaluation highlighted the added value of feminist funding: connecting organizations, strengthening networks, building capacity, and amplifying grassroots voices.
